Playing as Shana, over half way through a run with three full hearts and a soul heart; picked a red pentagram thing that reduces my health by one and the game instantly claims I died and sends me back to the main menu despite being at full health with no enemies nearby. Considering how repetitive this game is and the fact that I need to grind to Darkness fifteen just to then begin actually attempting the Darkness fifteen achievements, kind of obnoxious to lose a winning run to a literal glitch. How do you feel about the author focusing their efforts on developing a new game to earn more money, while continually delaying updates promised for the current game?

On the update announced back in march. I dont mind waiting but i would greatly appreciate if they made a steam update like "I'm making some good progress on the next update" or "I'm focusing more of my time on a different project so you guys might have to wait a while longer" or if they were feeling extra kind a release date or release window. I've played Cyclo Chambers, Maniac, Nomad Survival (hardest the latest maps), Pixel Survivors, Spellbound Survivors and Vampire Survivors and never found a hardest game like this.
