A simple visit

In the wait for the next real major update, it is now possible to visit The Beginning place.

This hub like place is the point from where player's explorations will start, as soon as the core exploration game systems will be available. For now you can already familiarize with this environment but there is no gameplay except for basic movements. The goal is to have a visually attractive foundation on which to expand, experiment and develop content and features in the future.

Unlike previous version of SenS which were running on UE4, this one is built using Unreal Engine 5 and introduce nice visual features, mainly enhancing lighting.

Hopefully this simple visit will give you a glimpse to the some kind of environments and atmospheres that can be discovered in SenS, and will help you to wait for the next update.

Old SenS version is still the main one at the moment, so to access this build, you have to select the beta branch, using the password "senspublicpreview".

yellow screen of death?

made it past the pipe room once but now the screen goes yellow (no transition) and then becomes unresponsive. maybe it's the mouse-click to skip the text. On that note, if the devs are listening, a save state or a way to skip or accelerate dialogue at the beginning would be amazing....

Game stopped responding to mouse clicks at one time

After leaving "The Empty Room" the first time, the game stopped responding to mouse clicks and I had to restart. I was running around a lot in the white room, trying out the controls, until I was taken back to the dialogue between Nio and Mav, and that's when the game stopped responding, which meant I couldn't progress through the dialogue (last line of dialogue I saw was "Nio: Are you listening? Excited to see how this develops

I don't have a twitter account myself but I visit the site every so often to check Limasse Five's feed for game announcements. I've waited for this day for the past few months. NaissanceE is one of my favorite games ever and introduced me to the idea of "omnistructures" (things like the backrooms, the dreampools, etc.). No other experience in gaming captures feelings of the sublime or an odd compulsion to get lost in the infinite, which for me almost feels like coming home, like NaissanceE does. Among all ...

Hi Limasse Five. Not sure if you'll read this or not, but I'll write it anyway. I know the game is still under development and very much rough around the edges and I've been following your tweets during the past few weeks. I was excited about the early access and wanted to support the game and try it too, but CAN$ 18.44 (20.49, 10% off) is a bit too much. I wish a separate patreon page had been set up for the major supporters and the price on Steam had been lower so more people like me could give it a try...
