Over twenty bloody hours in and the plot has yet to actually get it in gear, and the gameplay has yet to develop any depth to it at all. Just 20 hours of going to next place and cranking next thing over head while the plot treads water and characters alternate between telling you exactly what they're feeling and expositing the convoluted, East Azn Trademark gods this demons that blah blah people bad everything else gud pissboring sloppa backstory.

It'd probably help if the game at any point wanted to pick a lane between comedy and Naruto Filler Arc tier godawful melodrama. Cutesy pie cartoon witch sets things that disagree with her on fire is amusing and may have actually made for a tolerable game. But that apparently must be alternated with either crisis situations I'm clearly supposed to take seriously but can't because it's the 7th time in a row our hero has caused such a situation via her own stupidity (yet not played for comedy) or characters crying at each other over Generic Sad Backstories 347 through 412 as Generic Sappy Violin plays over it and it makes my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ teeth itch.

Listen, if you MUST buy this game, do it on a 50% sale at least. It's too shallow and downright tedious for anything else.

The first thing you have to do in the game is murder cute little bunnies to collect their meat or fur or feet. Can't we start the tutorial with just gathering things and not bunny murdering. Make the bunny murdering optional.

This game has absolutely captured my heart! The storyline, characters and mechanics are just phenomenal. I spent a while deciding if I wanted to get it, and wish I had made the plunge earlier.

The game is relatively short, which is it's biggest downfall. However, the storyline is consistently packed with great twists and turns. Some of the story is very emotional. You can get very attached to the characters!

My only gripe is that there is some content in-game that you won't find unless you look it up online. I missed quite a few pets and acheivments because finding them wasn't very intuitive. I was able to go back and get some of them, but there were several low-level pets I missed that by the time I discovered them in the Wiki, I was too overpowered to get them.

Honestly though, I thoroughly reccommend this game! Just keep the Wiki handy. I really hope they continue to remake the WitchSpring games for PC and consoles. I'm so in love with the concept!
