Family sharing does not mean multiplayer.

No, a shared library may only be accessed by one user at a time.

Going from your OP, it sounded like you want to play the game at the same time as your friend which is not possible with family share.

Yes. If you want to play the game at the same time as your friend you both have to buy it.

Contact steam support if you really have issues getting it to work.

Has anyone confirmed family share works cause it doesnt work for me & steam support says it cant with this issue. I uploaded a screenshot of when I load the game, it says family share not supported. I use family share with my fiance alot & this is the first time ive had an issue with it.

family sharing does not work. It will load into a splash screen with the message "Family sharing is not supported"

Family sharing used to work with this game. Then publisher had a hissy fit and disabled it. I still have a copy installed that I can no longer play because they axed it.
