not a bad puzzle game for a dollar and an hour or two. graphics and music could be better

Satisfying, if occasionally a bit of a head-scratcher, but hey, it is a puzzle game. I only wish the game had more freedom to organise stuff how you'd like, instead of having to figure out a puzzle to how it can all fit in the case perfectly, even if it looks a mess. Each level basically only has one answer, with slight variation possible.

Save Room takes the idea of Resident Evil's inventory management system and turns it into a puzzle game with great success. There's 40 levels total, with the game taking about an hour and a half to get through. It does a great job of constantly introducing new ideas and mechanics such as combining items to create ammo for the weapons, combining herbs to create healing items, and introducing new weapons, each with their own unique shapes, keeping gameplay fresh and challenging. I think the developers took the idea for the game as far as they could in terms of ideas and mechanics, and didn't just pad the game with filler puzzles to make it longer for no reason. It does a great job of not overstaying its welcome and is honestly just a very well paced puzzle game, and for $3 I think it's a great value if you're a fan of puzzle games. I'm someone who usually gets frustrated with puzzle games, and while this one certainly makes you think a little bit, it was never frustrating or felt boring.
