Can You Make the Coolest Robot Voice?

We’re excited to announce a community voice-over contest featuring a special video with two of our iconic robots — Bleep and Bloop!

🤖 How to Enter:

1. Watch the contest video. The video is available on

X[x.com] BlueSky[bsky.app] TikTok[www.tiktok.com] YouTube[youtube.com] Discord[discord.gg].
2. Record your gibberish for the robot characters in the scene. Bonus for some funny dialogues written in the bubbles!

3. Submit your entry by August 15 via X, Bluesky, YouTube or TikTok tagging Anshar Publishing and using the hashtag #BytebondVO. It's very important!

🤖 Prizes:

The main winner will have their voice-over featured in Bytebond! Additionally, creators of our favourite voice-overs will get Bytebond Steam keys from us when the game launches.

🤖 Important Dates:

• Contest opens: July 18• Submission deadline: August 15
• Winner announced: August 19

Anshar Publishing Voice-Over Contest – Terms and Conditions

1. Organizer

The contest is organized by Anshar Publishing.

2. Eligibility

The contest is open to all members of the Bytebond community. Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

3. How to Enter

a. Watch the provided contest video.
b. Provide the voice-overs of your production for the robot characters in the scenes.
c. Submit your entry by August 15 via X, Bluesky, YouTube or TikTok tagging Anshar Publishing and using the hashtag #BytebondVO.
d. Multiple entries are allowed.

4. Submission Guidelines

a. All entries must be original and created by you.
b. Only respectful and appropriate submissions will be considered. Entries containing offensive, inappropriate, or disrespectful material will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
c. Entries must be submitted by August 15.

5. Intellectual Property and Copyright

By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge and agree that all submitted audio recordings and related content become the exclusive property of Anshar Publishing. Participants hereby irrevocably forfeit any and all copyright and related rights to their submitted content, and waive any claims to compensation or royalties for its use in the game or related promotional materials. The Organizer reserves the right to edit, modify, reproduce, and use the submitted content in any manner and in any media, worldwide and in perpetuity.

6. Selection of Winners

a. The Organizer will review all eligible entries and select winners at its sole discretion, based on criteria determined by the Organizer (such as creativity, quality, and suitability for the game).
b. The main prize winner’s voice-over may be featured in the game. Additional winners may receive game keys or other prizes as specified.
c. The Organizer’s decisions are final and binding.

7. Prizes

a. The main prize is the inclusion of the winner’s voice-over in the game.
b. Additional prizes include game keys for Bytebond.
c. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

8. Announcing Winners

Winners will be announced on all of Anshar Publishing’s social media channels mentioned above, as well as on Discord and will reach out to the winners on the platforms the video were submitted on August 19. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, the Organizer reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

9. General Conditions

a. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest at any time.
b. By submitting videos with the produced voice-over, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

New Enemy Tactics and Digital Storms

Greetings, Defenders! 🛡️

We’ve been hard at work to bring you another wave of awesome updates—and we’re thrilled to show you what’s new in the latest version of Bytebond! Let’s jump in 😉

Jumping Enemies

We’ve wrapped up work on the last of our bad guy types—the jumper! Not only is this enemy ready to leap into action, but it also received a full VFX overhaul to make encounters even more exciting.

Mysterious Storms

A strange digital storm is brewing, playing a key role in our robot’s journey. We don’t want to spoil the surprise, so for now, enjoy the cool VFX—what it all means is for you to discover!

New Level Decorations

Our levels are looking even more interesting with the addition of old PC monitors, stacks of paper, and GPU racks. Why are these objects inside a computer? You’ll have to play the game to uncover the mystery!

Bugs (the Cute Kind!)

We’re bringing more life to our levels by adding adorable chip-bugs and other little critters. Keep an eye out for these charming inhabitants as you explore!

Virus Lamps

Virus lighting just got creepier! We’ve added eerie tentacle lights to make the atmosphere even more immersive and mysterious.

🎼 Reactive Barriers VFX

The Sound Card chapter just got a major glow-up! The level barriers now react in real time to the in-game music, creating a dynamic and immersive experience. Watch as the visuals pulse and shift to the beat—your journey through the soundscape has never looked (or felt) this good!

⚠️ Glitch VFX

Beware of the evil virus! It’s not just lurking in the shadows anymore—it’s actively trying to mess with the computer. You’ll notice occasional screen glitches in the GPU Biome, adding a touch of chaos and tension to your adventure. Stay sharp!

🎨 Complete UI Overhaul

We’ve completely redesigned the user interface from the ground up! With brand-new buttons, panels, and elements, the UI now complements Bytebond’s art style. It’s sleeker, more intuitive (hopefully!), and a joy to navigate. What do you guys think?
