Did you add the harpoon gun back in?
Yes.

Is it in the same place it was before?
No.

Might Husband have new dialogue that helps me find it?
Yes, if you're meeting him for the first time. Otherwise, no. But if you've done his quest, I'd suggest visiting the places that brought you.

Are there any other changes in this demo?
I've been overhauling the movement system a bit and some of those changes have made it in. They should not affect anything too much in the demo levels, though. There are also some minor bugfixes.

Should I tell you if I find any bugs?
Yes.

Do you hope that I enjoy the demo?

Hello,

I just pushed an update to the goblinAmerica demo. This demo is structurally the same as the previous demo, but has new features, systems, areas, other secrets, and so on.

I did this partly just because, as I get closer to Early Access release, I wanted the demo to be more representative of the actual game. I'm also doing this because of some changes Steam made. The upshot is that there's now a dedicated page for the demo here:

If you enjoy the demo, please consider wishlisting it and leaving a good review for it on the demo page. These things help so much that it is, frankly, startling and bewildering.

Here's a summary of some of the major changes in the new demo.

• Updated gear system. I have filled the world with items. Find them and put them on your heads and legs. Smear them on your body. They will make you better and worse at things, and sometimes have other stranger effects.
  
  
• Use gear to break seals. I have added a new way to break seals for players that do not care to earn medals. Now you can progress by exploring, discovering things, using those things they discovered. I wanted to support players that prefer going slow to going fast. If you still prefer going fast, don't worry. You're still all set up.
  
  
• Strangers with desires. I've added more complex people to the world. Some of them have things they'd like you to do. If you help them, things will change. Maybe you'll have long and beautiful friendships with them. I can't speak more on it.
  
  
• Accessibility features. The big one is more granular settings for FoV stuff for people who struggle with motion sickness. Also added an option to keep the timer permanently hidden for people who don't need that looking over their shoulder. More of this kind of stuff coming with EA.
  
  
• Weapon swapping. Now you can hold two weapons. And swap.
  
  
• New areas. :)

There are some other things too. Performance improvements, some tweaked behaviors, some secrets. I hope you enjoy.

p.s.: Some people who played the previous demo have run into a problem with their keybindings on playing this new demo. I think I fixed it, but if not, clearing the save and restarting the game should do it. And if you run into any bugs, let me know in the forums.
