hey wanderers! Fancy (the dev) here,

on the 3 year anniversary of Escape The Backrooms, i mentioned that i had some HUGE announcements to share.  well... here's the first of many!!! 

im super excited to announce that im partnering up with Secret Mode to help bring ETB out of early access and also to continue supporting the game with regular updates after launch. 

for the past 3 years ive been spending literally 100% of my free time working on this game to add more levels and features for u guys, but it’s clear that as the game has grown it's no longer enough and to help the game move forward, i need to get a bigger dev team. 

so i took some time out of working on the game to find a team to help out going forward, and i decided to go with Secret Mode to ensure the 1.0 launch goes live as soon as possible and also to provide an official roadmap afterwards so u guys can stay informed on whats coming next.

im still gonna be working on ETB myself as well, but this will let us be able to bring more things to the game that you’ve been asking for, along with some extra surprises! 

Secret Mode doubling as a publishing company also means they will provide support outside of the game by keeping u guys informed on the development progress and creating more ways for u to share feedback and be involved in community events since i hate keeping u guys in the dark and i've clearly been lacking in that area due to the amount of extra work needed for full release.
