I started a new game and the in game name appeared as my PC profile instead of the character name. Thankfully my profile isn't my actual name, but how do you even ♥♥♥♥ this up?

This kind of sounds like ( Maybe ), the user is afraid of being found out that he/she/it, is playing a game that has Adult Content, OR doesn't like for the name to show up when taking ScreenShots of what they are doing in the game.

Btw this is nothing New, Most game tend to have the Users Name shown & some can be changed if you find the option to change the characters name.

Btw people who see your Post, will just brush it off & move on................just saying.

The reason the PC name was put as player name was a bug that read the computer name and put that in the variable for player name. It should be long since fixed and the data was never sent anywhere or shown to anyone.
