Deluxe Edition and Online
John Cena's Doctor of Thuganomics attire better be in the deluxe edition

it might be unlockable in showcase, but if not the ruthless aggression pack will probably be purchasable like the nwo pack just will cost like £20 so that you technically are paying the price of icon edition.

Prototype attire is in the icon pack. No mention of Dr of Thuganomics besides a picture so it's most likely it'll be unlocked through showcase.

Did it have some faults, sure. But otherwise it was fantastic. Its a great foundation to build on.

Do You Like What We've Been Seeing So Far?
I myself think, while there are some cool stuff like Cody being in, War Games, expanded My GM, ect... everything shown off so far has been a little underwhelming.

Especially the Showcase mode for Cena as it's giving me straight WWE 2K22 Rey Mysterio Showcase vibes!

What are your thoughts?

Well I didn't expect any major changes in the short time since the last game. But the improvements here and there sound good and are exactly what I expected and hoped for, improving on what has worked decently well in the last game.

It is still on the 2K22 engine so if you did not like last year, you will not like this year as the gameplay is not changing.

Overpriced Roster update
There is no reason that this should be priced the same as 2k22 on release. Oh we get one new match and few new superstars and moves. Brought back advanced entrances after getting rid of it. Same visuals, likely same garbage hit detection and collision system as last year. At max it should be 75% of the price of 2k22.

It is not so much as other sport franchises. They offer a lot more than just a roster update.

Showcase mode is a unique documentary. MyRise has a lot of unique scripted story.

I used to mainly stick to Universe mode in these games, but with Showcase and MyRise there is a lot of narrative storyline content to experience.

With a lot of time into 2k22 (around 40 hours) I am still only half way through the story content.

Personally I like how the WWE games do not become totally irrelevant each year because of the Showcase mode and MyRise/MyCareer
