Hello!

It's me, Rhomita, the developer of Notmads.
I'm really happy because after a few months of development, I've released a new Pre-Alpha version.
This update contains lots of new features, fixes, and a completely new island to explore (which will be the starter island in the final game).
I've also migrated the game to a new Unreal Engine version; it was using version 4, and now it's using Unreal Engine 5! It took some time because there are big differences, but I'll be able to speed up development by using all the new features of the engine.

Hello!

I'm Rhomita, the creator of Notmads, and I wanted to share how awesome 2023 has been for the game's development. Throughout the year, the pre-alpha version has seen numerous updates, introducing fantastic features. Exciting news: a major update with new core mechanics is on the horizon, likely arriving in January.

On top of that, I had the pleasure of showcasing Notmads at two indie game development events. The response was fantastic – players enjoyed the game, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive!

Looking ahead to 2024, I'm committed to putting in the hard work to bring Notmads to the next level. It's a crucial year as I aim to finalize things and announce the Alpha Early Access release date. Hello there!
I'm Rhomita, the developer of Notmads, and I'm thrilled to update you on the progress I've made during the first 4 months of the year. I've been working tirelessly over the past few months to implement new features and mechanics, and I'm excited to share that I've made significant strides forward.

Since the initial release of version 0.0.1 on January 1st 2023, I've been able to push out several updates and improvements, reaching version 0.0.30. Some of the highlights include the implementation of "quick inventory slots" which allows players to quickly access their inventory to consume items faster by assigning them to four available slots. Additionally, one of the last updates introduces 14 new passive skills to increase defence and attack, as well as 40 new potions and several new active skills such as "Explosion", "Thunderstorm", among others. It also includes various improvements to the game's beast mechanics, increased skill slots, and enhanced AI behaviour for both beasts and enemies. Moreover, several bug fixes and improvements have been made to the game's performance and UI/UX.

Please note that Notmads is currently in a closed pre-alpha state, and while early access is not yet available, I will update you on the release date as soon as it's defined.
