Is Ban for Beta Only?
Came back home to see a Steam alert that I had been permanently banned. While I verified the files religiously because it was the only way to get BO6 to load without network errors, I assume my ban is from toxicity. Not like I was using slurs or being offensive just using profanity. Fact that they can permanently remove my access and permanently flag my profile because I used PG13 language towards a teammate is kinda absurd ngl. Ive always read threads like these and been "ha sucks to be you" so karmas a ♥♥♥♥♥ I guess. The message that pops up on screen says im banned from "Blacks Ops 6 Beta servers" so does that mean I still get to play at full launch or my $109 was stripped from me before it actually released after a first offense potty word lol

I assume it means you are banned from all future COD titles, including the one you just paid for.

That's how it has worked up to now.

You won't get permabanned for profanity, unless what you said was incredibly extreme. At present most toxicity gets you shadowed, but as there are no shadow lobbies for the beta, it just removes you instead.

You accept a terms of service when playing beta but you should know there terms already since it been in cod forever.

But no one knows you would have to contact Activision and ask them. It can be beta only or

Haha delighted to see your ban, its for all titles going forward, lesson of the day is don't cheat and you wont get banned, a little late for you though i guess lmfao enjoy the ban cheat.

Not necessarily true. If you get banned to much for voice or text chat it is possible to be banned permanently. According to their security enforcement policy.

If what OP is saying is true,

Then I think it is unfair to put a ban on his profile for in-game verbal abuse .

Or at least state on his profile what the ban was for.

Why is it? He has broken rules he had agreed too, no good crying about a self inflicted ban.

It literally specifies the title the ban applies for its not for all future titles lmao and there was no slurs, no threats, nothing offensive. just calling a teammate ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over and over in one game I had. is it mean? sure. but the games rated M. just give me a temp suspension or mute my communications dont perma flag my steam profile lol

but If I was banned for being abusive online, I would like it clearly stated on my steam profile that i was banned for having a potty mouth.

In the "gaming world" being know as a cheater is worse than being know as being verbally abusive.

If you continue that behavior when game is out you would be permanently banned and there is no getting your money back unless you didn't pass the 2 hour mark or 14 days if on Xbox, game pass they can banned your Xbox account as well.

You violated their rules got a ban that how it works. No one specifics what a ban is for on your profile only the account owner knows. If you don't like that then don't play online games because you agree to their terms of service and they issue ban when you break them and valve puts up the game ban.

Nope, this was debunked a long time ago. Your ban is because you either broke the rules you agreed too or you cheated or a combination of the two.

ya man obviously I cant prove I dont cheat but if you look at my steam profile and still think "yea this guy booted cheats up for the first time for the black ops 6 beta weekend" you are bonkars lol. I get being toxic is against their tos but they should probably have a warning or mute option for first offenders
