Maybe I missed a piece of lore somewhere? but I'm really confused about what was meant by Alagossa sprouting extra eyes at the end of the game... The fact that a "weight lifted off shoulders" when she went into the red stuff-infected corridor, seems to indicate that she's some kind of monster maybe even one and the same with the red stuff , which would also explain her red eyes, but... ... idk, I'm just confused about what she is and how it connects to the rest of the lore....

First of all, very nice game, I really enjoyed it. There's a tiny logic nitpic though, that might at the same time also be suited for an alternate end should you ever wish to add one: [Don't continue reading unless you finished the game] When looking for something to break the door, I knew right away I'm supposed to get the hammer.
