I get that progressing through the game would make it bigger, but it keeps going back and forth between a little bigger and a litlte smaller whenever I get or use cards, and it's honestly very annoying.

As the title says, I have made everything up till it calls for a tier 5 colony, but I have no ability to explore to unlock trading. I am unsure what I am supposed to do? I have tons of Food, cash and people, I have diplomats, and generals, war ships, trade ships, and explorer ships. But I have no clue what I am supposed to do....

I really dislike the combat and the raid system now. Its just too dominated by RNG, and with the total loss of loot, the stakes are too high. Basically, I lose a couple of combats in a row, and that totally takes the air out of the room, and I find I quit a few minutes later because I have totally lost interest. Either switch so that the loot doesn't go away, or better yet, allow the loot to go away and then slowly refill. Penalise me in time for your crappy RNG, but don't make me totally invalidated by it...
