It is time... Ranked Mode Season One for Gigantic: Rampage Edition is now live on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation! After four weeks of warming up in Ranked Pre-Season on PC, we're navigating the airship towards carnage and competition for all players. In this article, we’ll go over all you need to know about Ranked Season One, the rewards you can earn, and the special weekend events that will get you even more rewards. So, without further ado, let's get right into it!

Ranked Season One is set to run for three months, from July 23rd to October 22nd at 3pm UTC. Players level 20 and above can scratch their competitive itch in a dedicated Ranked queue that uses the traditional Clash game mode. After your initial placement matches – the Pre-Season rankings on PC have been reset – you can climb through the ranks, all the way from Bronze to Gigantic Guardian. How far will you make it?

Climbing the ranks comes with fame, glory, and bragging rights. But there are more rewards up for grabs! Depending on the highest rank you’ll achieve throughout Season One, you’ll be rewarded with special portraits, titles, and launch VFX that are exclusive to Season One. These are:

Tyto’s Sakura Weaver skins are up for grabs during our first weekend event.

During these weekend events, you’ll be able to earn new hero and weapon skins. More specifically, one new hero skin will be awarded upon logging in during the event time, one new weapon skin will be awarded after playing a Rush match during the event time, and two additional color variations for both hero and weapon skins will be unlocked and purchasable with Crowns.

We’ve just deployed our major patch for July that we had promised you in our last Dev Update. This patch fixes match grades, makes improvements to Easy Anti Cheat, and includes a ton of additional fixes and balancing changes. As always, you can read the full patch notes further below!

Reminder that Season One begins on July 23 across all platforms. We’re very excited for Ranked to officially kick-off and have in-game reward events planned for you to have the chance to get brand-new content that wasn’t in the original Gigantic, like new hero skins and weapon skins for some of your favorite heroes.

Additional fixes
- Several improvements to bot pathfinding
- Fixed several crew panel and invite UI bugs (including wrong order in case of multiple crew invites)
- Fixed several UI and text issues and descriptions (including lore snippets for emotes)
- Fixed several spectator camera collision issues
- Fixed high-level players sometimes receiving incorrect rewards
- Fixed ending up in Clash queue after queueing for Ranked when another player declined the match
- Fixed a visual bug for Ranked where it sometimes looked like players lost MMR after a win

Known Issues
- Region/server matchmaking issue

- Issues surrounding custom games
- In rare cases, Easy Anti-Cheat might have to be re-installed manually to play the game. Please check this thread for detailed steps.
- Cyclops may wander away from the power circle on Point C of Sanctum Falls
- A Cyclops wall doesn't disappear in certain situations when the Cyclops dies
- Kajir: Enemies may be revealed for longer if Kajir dies during his focus skill
- Beckett: Machine pistols sometimes don't work upon entering a match
- Roland: Grappling Hook goes into 2 second cooldown when deflected
- Wu + Pakko: A desync can occur when Pakko uses Snowball Toss right before getting hit by Wu's Tonguelash
- Mozu: Missing the door VFX when using Dimensional Door
- A defending hero's death sometimes adds shield for the Guardian
- Leaving a Ranked match after the "it's safe to leave" message sometimes still leads to penalty points

Our Ranked Pre-Season on PC has now concluded, which means the launch of Season One on all platforms is on the horizon. With details on what’s to come for Ranked and in-game events, let’s look back at the past four weeks of Pre-Season on PC. First off, a huge thank you to all of you who jumped into Gigantic: Rampage Edition to compete in our Ranked Mode Pre-Season. As we mentioned before, this was meant to be a warm-up for the real deal, allowing us to do some finetuning based on your reactions. We’re extremely grateful for all your feedback and suggestions during that time, they helped us squash some bugs and make adjustments that will improve your experience in Season One and beyond, such as queue time and matchmaking improvements.

Season One will last three months, during which you’ll try and climb the ranks as high as possible to earn exclusive profile portraits and titles. Throughout these three months, we’ll be running special weekend events for you to add new hero and weapon skins to your collection. Fancy a fresh new drip for Tyto?
