I found and destroyed two ice orbs. Closed the game, returned to it a day later to find the last orb, but the first two aren't checked on my quest log. They are already destroyed and I'm stuck at 1/3 and can't progress in the game. Please fix this.

nothing else to say, i got all the ice orbs, ice wall didn't open and i followed instructions from someone else to alter the save settings, but that only got rid of the ice orbs as a task, i need the ice wall open, basically needing them back, i don't know what to do because i don't want to reset my game....

1.) You can be trapped in the elemental planes without having learned the Rain spell, making it so you can't progress when given the objective to douse the wizards. This is alright, since you can cast the Rain spell without having learned it. 2.) Unfortunately, there's another way to get stuck in the same area. It seems you can only traverse the lava to the east of the place you enter the fire plane from if you drink a goblet to heal (assuming you don't have another spell to help you, which is possible). ...
