Im stuck on the game engine logo. I can hear the sound of the game, but I cant do anything

I was enjoying this game, but now every time I open it it crashes immediately. This is on MacOS (latest version).

Was very excited to play this game, but when I start up the game it just gets stuck on the godot game engine screen. I can click on stuff because I hear the sounds, but I just only see the game engine logo.

At the same time that I wanted hours more of the gameplay and the inventive ways to hide puzzles, it also felt like the perfect length the game had to be. Didn't overstay its welcome at all and presented all its "aha!" moments in a pretty well paced manner. I want more but I didn't want it to be a second longer because it didn't need to be. Such a weird feeling. Anyone else feeling like this? Bottom line is I love this cute little game...
