Does the teddy bear actually do anything? I got through everything, used the bear, and it says the "recollections" will be enabled after the game is saved. I saved, and... nothing happened? Anyone know what should happen?

Solutions (spoilers)

This is not a step-by-step for the whole game, just for the parts that were more annoying to solve. Common blockers: 3rd floor game over on jumping down the hole and game over on leaving to 2nd floor. Use top right bookshelf in master bedroom to learn about the black tentacles.
