If you like Agatha Christie novels, then you'll like this game. It's a modernised version which we didn't know we needed, but so glad to have!

The puzzles are challenging, but not too difficult. More exploring which is good and a good back story behind it as well; if you haven't read the book I think this is really good.

Overall I would highly rate this game, really fun.

If you are into Agatha Christie novels obviously you will like this, or even the films. Also mystery guessing lover will appreciate this game. I am usually good at guessing who the killer is in most mystery games or films. However this one through me off a little with my detective skills. The game can have a few serious hard puzzles that may take a while to figure. Try not using hints which I was able to do and require an achievement for it. Otherwise the game kind of leads you into this easy choice of answers, if not the correct choice you will still get it eventually. The plots were nice. Graphics good for not a big title. Sounds calming and tranquil at times. Probably the best title to have been made by Microids Studio.

love the game,but i am an agatha christie fan.what i disliked was the game kept crashing on the orange juice machine,very frustrating

Pretty decent videogame of a classic story! The visuals are neat and the game does what it wants to do pretty well. I noticed very few bugs and none of them were gamebreaking and the story hooks you eventually.

One thing I noticed is that *sometimes* NPCs won't reflect that you've already talked to them before and have been introduced. So when it's the "Main Quest Line" asking you to talk to that person, they will go "Oh, nice to meet you, I am..."

The puzzles vary between baby easy and actually difficult with external stress factors.

The only thing that gets a little bit annoying after a while is that sprinting is sliiiiiiiiiiightly faster than walking and you walk back and forth on the train all the time. It would have been great if the player character could actually jog.

Small spoiler:
When you first get to really investigating the embroidered handkerchief, the game asks you which persons you think the handkerchief could belong to. What you are meant to do is pick everyone whose name starts with the matching letter, but if you think about it outside of the game's parameters, an embroidered handkerchief is a very old-fashioned thing to have and use. I don't care that this 30 year old guy's name starts with that letter, there is no way that he's using a handkerchief (game takes place in 2023).

So you end up knowingly picking the wrong persons and wasting your time interviewing them, when, if you think about it, there is only one person, let's say two to be generous, on that train that it could belong to.

This feels like a cheap tactic to intentionally throw you off course, especially since the main character is akin to Sherlock Holmes, so he should have been easily able to deduce that.

Also, the game acknowledges this at some point and says that an embroidered handkerchief is a very old-fashioned thing.

But other than that, it's been a thrilling story-game so far! 8/10.
