I played Little Goody Two Shoes and wanted more
And I got so much more, like omg this is so good

the visual design of this game lured me into playing it, but after around 2 hours of playtime i realized that i had been fooled. the gameplay and story are horribly scripted and executed. in fact i wasn't able to perceive a story at all. the dialogues consist of nonsense metaphors and wannabe grotesque kawaiiness. all the characters are annoying, dull and pathetic. most of the cutscene character sprites (the big, non-pixelated ones) look like generic anime characters and their histrionic expressions just pissed me off. they also don't go well with the overall pixel style of the game. the gameplay is a pain in the ass, with random sudden & instant death moments that don't seem to follow any logic, at least not in my eyes, same goes for the puzzles. even the hidden objects, of which there are a lot in this game, couldn't keep me playing, eventhough i was looking forward to finding items in those pretty and richly detailed settings. i feel sorry that the beautiful and lush visual design is going to waste because of the game's mindless level/puzzle design and tediously dumb and therefore useless story.

Pocket Mirror Was such a Beautiful Game, its Art direction was immaculate. If You are looking to scratch that RPGMaker Horror itch, this is the game.
