Compared to TOAW?
I know the scope is different but gameplay wise. How much different do they play? There are some pretty good Pacific Scenarios in IV.

Less micromanagement. Less detail in units.

Scenarios....
Central Pacific 43 (USMC University special scenario)
China 1937
Okinawa 1945 (simple learning scenario)
Pacific 1941
Pacific Battles 1944 (USMC University)
Solomon Island Campaign 1942

For me, these two games are very different. I didn't enjoy the strategic component of TOAW. That game is fine for depicting the Battle of Stalingrad, but not a war. I've always felt this game is most similar to the great wargame Empire of the Sun.

i agree with Haakon, Warplan Pacific is a very good game...Looking forward to new game Warplan 2 as well....
