Achievements not working?

I started playing this game on January 5th and worked through all the endings soon after (heart-wrenching, by the way) and noticed I hadn't gotten any of the Steam achievements when I was supposed to, despite them also being lit up on the Achievements tab in-game. I'm not sure if this was a bug related to the 1.7.0 update a few days before or if it's a personal issue on my profile, either way I figured I'd jot my findings down here and see if anyone knows what's up

i think you have to replay your saves and finish the game for each ending to get the achievements

I did, both by using the skip function normally and using dev tools to start at the endings. I don't even have the Gator Hugger achievement from all my playthroughs, even though I should have it several times over

same problem here i just finished the game at full and i noticed that i dont have any achievement unlocked on steam

Someone on the Wani Reddit reported the same issue. I doubt the devs read the discussions here but I'm not sure where else to bug report

The same issue's happening to me as well. My best guess is a bug in a recent update, as two achievements I acquired ~6 months ago show up on Steam (and I recall getting them when I was supposed to), but an achievement I acquired recently in-game did not prompt Steam to give me said achievement. It could be something on Steam's end, but if it's happening to multiple people on this one game, I believe it's reasonable to assume otherwise. Hopefully the reason for this issue is discovered soon, regardless of where the issue may lie.
