This is very bad. Too primitive, too retro.

The gameplay is too straightforward, without zest and uniqueness, not to mention any modern mechanics.

There is no plot, 3.5 hits for the whole game, short levels, and the essence of the game is purely to score as many points as possible. This is a straight-up slick game from the Sega Mega Drive era.

And the difficulty curve...mmm, easy difficulty, you're a bulldozer with 9 lives, which you probably won't even need (possibly on some inconvenient bosses). But if you play on hard (and there is no middle here), then you are a punching bag, which most likely will have difficulty reaching level 3. Quickie

If you are looking for a normal, modern Beat 'em up, paying attention to Mother Russia Bleed or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is better. Don't waste your time on this garbage, unless you're a retarded retro fanatic.

Un juego divertido inspirado en Final Fight y otros juegos del género, me lo he pasado bien jugando, no es tan sensacional y carismático como Final Fight y Streets of Rage pero tiene unos combos y movimientos muy interesantes, y unos pixeles muy bien conseguidos. Nota: 6

Taking inspiration from 90s arcade beat-em-ups like Final Fight, Vendetta (these two being in its name) as well as Renegade, Streets of Rage, Burning Fight, Sengoku 3 (for its nice big sprites) and maybe some Amiga games (for its graphical style and quality) Final Vendetta is a mash up of all the above into a nice looking and great sounding (due to its awesome 90s flavored soundtrack) game which is let down by janky controls, wonky hit-boxes and a lack of variety in its enemies, moves and bosses.

Characters move slowly and the controls are just not fluid enough when enemies are often highly aggressive (sneaking in to attack the second you stop mashing the attack button) and several have wake-up attacks (meaning you can knock them down and can't stand anywhere near them without getting caught in a sweep attack). Also, getting surrounded by enemies (always the main threat in games like these) is a quick road to death as a few quick attacks can stun lock you and leave you getting mashed to death by a mob of AI moving in for the kill.

Such situations mean they player has to be very aggressive to keep enemies off their back and if you are playing the slow wrestling character you are going to suffer as his basic attacks are not as fast as the others so enemies can actually sneak in hits between yours or even other enemies can interupt your attack on another enemy.

However, these issues would not be deal breakers if it were not for the problem with hit-boxes. Both players and enemies attack slightly above and below the plane they are on in the game, which is a nice mechanic in itself, but is broken when sometimes those attacks connect and sometimes they don't. This can really be fatal if you are low health, fire off an attack which should connect, it doesn't, and then they hit you and you lose a life.

Also bosses, one of the highlights of games like these, are sorely lacking in inspiration and the present no real challenge once you know their very basic attack routines. Two are just generic looking dudes beefed up and others are just low budget knock offs of better bosses from better games.

Special attacks are OK but sometimes miss when they should not and are just not spectacular enough. And, while move sets are fine the need to ensure that you get the first hits in against aggro AI, while dealing with the janky controls and the hit-box issue means you will stick to the basics more than anything else as taking risks in such a situation gets you killed.

So, in summary, I'm all, for inspiration from the past but a modern game like this should not play as if it were a low budget, knock-off, title from that time. The kind you used to find in arcades which were just dull clones of better games and rarely got played.

With more polish this could have been a really awesome title but instead its not going to keep you entertained for long when there are other such games on Steam (not naming names) which are similarly inspired but play better and don't have the above issues.

This game rocks! If you're into beat 'em ups then there's just so much to enjoy about this one. In my opinion it looks great, sounds great and plays great. TBH, I feel like I don't have the words to properly express just how much I love this game! I really hope we get a sequel someday.
