I'd like to share a tip with anyone experiencing crashing issues with this game. I personally tried several tips shared on forums, YouTube, and social media, and nothing worked. I tried multiple driver versions, changed all sorts of settings in Windows, the GPU, and the screen monitor, and everything failed. I also tried lowering the graphics quality in the game menus, and the infamous crash due to lack of memory always returned, even though I had much better hardware than recommended and with all possible updates until July 2025. So I tried capping the FPS at 60 in the menu ((options--> visualization-->FPS limit-->60)) and voila! The game ran very well for quite some time. It didn't completely solve the problem, as the crash returned, but only after hours of playing. At least it was enough to calm the irritation this crash causes, and I was finally able to play this masterpiece. I hope this tip can help others.
