Mars Vice is a narrative adventure game set on a distant and futuristic Mars. Follow two civil investigators, Dax and Anaya, as they root out deep-seated corruption in the Martian city of Pavonis in this biopunk-infused story.

Patch Update

A week later and here we are, another patch to help smooth out some issues folks were having.

Cleaned up some lightmapping issues on various scenes. (Stretched Black textures on certain objects)
Did pass on various Typos throughout the game.
2.5D Scenes where tweaked to allow for better selection of objects.
Colliders were updated in a few scenes to prevent the player from passing through walls.
Audio balancing pass, some sounds were reduced such as the car alarm.
Interaction points were made a bit more accessible for objects in the ending scenes.
Better Steam Deck and controller improvements.
General Performance improvements.

I'm gonna go ape-sh*t when it releases, love the powerful queer messaging, and of course the way the game is presented!

First Crime Scene - Minor Spoiler

When you are investigating the first crime scene you can inspect the toolbox. Dax makes reference to the biker getting a crowbar from here. However you can look at this toolbox before you discover said biker.

Fixed the issue with Conversations blocking the Main Menu, you can now access that correctly during all conversations.

Hello folks, here is a quick patch for a couple issues we had reported to us.

Fixed several controller bugs, most important being the save menu.
Fixed aquarium sidewalk visual lightbake.
Selfie controller with X and not with A.
Make thoughts stay slightly longer, Dax properly mulls things over.
localized streamer note
streamer note now closing properly.
added additional colliders in aquarium scene, now you cannot swim with the fishes.
Dax now uses a proper comparison to Mars gravity.
Park Cable slightly moved better into scene.

Always appreciating folks pointing out anything you find, this helps us polish the game into an even better state!

Awesome concept, I noticed one of the panels (back side) didn't have the pixelisation which feels like a bug

Bug & Issue Reporting

Only complaint: The chromatic abberation is too strong/distracting on 4K screens.

Otherwise if anything I was only wishing there was more demo to demo, what was there was excellent and fun, and finished at peak interest so well cut breakpoint for the demo honestly! Zero issues, ran well, nothing confusing about the controls unlike a LOT of Next Fest demos this year, so hats off and here's to the full game when it releases!...

An absolute delight! Great direction and writing, beautiful character and environment art, and a world that oozes character. I loved the establishing shots of new locations with their mix of noire aesthetic and bold cinematography. Lots of great dialog and banter, with very "human" characters that I fell in love with immediately. Dax is hands down the best disaster himbo on Mars. I hope we get to see more of this universe!

Just played around an 2h 30m of the full game so far and I'm honestly at a loss for words as to how amazing this game has turned out in the end. So many skilled, dedicated, and hardworking individuals came together to great something with so much love and passion poured into it. I'm lucky to have been apart of that process!

So far, this game is SOOOOO HILARIOUS and super engaging. The dialogue between characters is pure gold and is so natural- its frightening. I've been pulled in by the world building, characters, as well as the mystery beginning to reveal itself in the short time I've sat down to play.

I've no doubt I'll continue to enjoy this story and admiring everything in the game now that all the pieces have come together!

Some bugs I've notice

First, I must say this game is very much well optimized. On my Nvidia Geforce 710 this game runs at a butter smooth 60 fps. So, when this game does come out people can be assured older or low end graphic cards should beadle to run this game flawlessly. That being said there are some minor hiccups I hope can get patched. The loading sequences from the main characters room to the airport did seem to struggle a bit. An the video after, you finish the demo does seem to chug really bad. It could just be th...
