■ Community hub
There are 151 kinds of rankings in total, so it will be complicated if you do not summarize how to show them i think. I'm sorry, but even if you support all rankings as it is, it will take time to respond.
■ Freeze
Can you tell me the information needed for verification, roughly how many friends own the game?
The instructions on how to do this should be here.
(For me this page displays in English, but for you it should appear in whatever your default language is.)
According to the section titled "Creating via the API," all you should need to do to make the leaderboards viewable in the Community Hub is to enter a name for each leaderboard in the "Community Name" field:
There are also step-by-step instructions here. Under Step 1 at the top it says this:
Does that help?
I only have 7 Steam friends that currently own this game. However, I have 414 total Steam friends. Based on similar game freezing problems I have had in the past (the same problem happens in Mushihimesama), I think it is the 414 Steam friends causing this bug.
There may be a way for you to fix it, but I don't know how. For example, even though the freezing bug appears in Mushihimesama, it does not appear in Deathsmiles or DoDonPachi Resurrection, which were both ported to Steam by the same developer as Mushihimesama. But I don't know what they did to fix the problem.
If you are able to enable the leaderboards to appear in the Community Hub, then there is no need to worry about fixing the freezing problem.
On that note, yes, I agree that it would be harmless to display the leaderboards in the Community Hub, and it's as easy as copy-pasting the name in the leaderboard config menu (source: I'm an indie dev, and I've accidentally forgotten to do this before lol). Another benefit to community hub leaderboards is that you can browse them before buying the game. In this case, I was curious about how many people reached/surpassed 6 bil points for that one achievement.
