I believe all the current HD releases just require one boot up while online with Denuvo, and it doesn't matter afterwards. Though, I can't say for certain on that.
All of the HD releases released without Denuvo, though. Since we're on steam, you get to have access to older versions of games. Such as any of the HD releases that didn't have Denuvo.
I couldn't tell you how it's done on steam deck, but on PC you can genuinely just legally download the version that didn't have Denuvo and play that.
The defenders of denuvo practices are annoying in their insistence to shout you down.
