I played through all this in one sitting, my brain is fried. But it's a really damn good visual novel? Like it's funny, that's the main draw, but enough of the characters are played straight some of the time for there to be an actual emotional payoff at the end. It's not meant to be taken seriously, but I do actually like Kakkoi, all honesty. The last like, hour of writing (excluding the air hockey segments) is something I was hooked into despite the main character being a mundane ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and jokes still flying every other sentence.

The gameplay segments are fun. Air hockey is a unique twist on it and it introduces gimmicks for each fight, some also being additional abilities you can do. It's a short enough product in its entirety for it not to drag on, and it's cheap as hell.
I recommend it for the experience. I have already purchased a Kakkoi fumo and eagerly await its delivery.

really funny vn theres so much charm in it BUT dear god some of the bosses make you want to ♥♥♥ its like nobody playtested them ESPECIALLY the fight w/ kakkoi and utsuho you literally cannot dodge the grenade attack if its on your side
