Help! Could you explain this logic? [O]5x5-10-11963 (screencap spoiler!)

I got this hint and I don't understand. Why the green cell must be blank? Isn't it possible that the two revealed flags of the 4 can be connected with the squares to the right or left?

Could some smart brains end my struggle please??!

If it was a mine, then one of the cells on the top-left or top-right of the 4 would be blank, and that blank cell would be unable to connect up to the other blank cells.
If it did connect, then the mine right below it would be unable to connect to the edge of the level.
