Whats going on in the reviews?

Whats with all the people saying things like "My friend said if I post a review on Space Pressure and it gets XXX likes and Awards that he will buy me bla bla. So im just gonna leave this here. Help a brotha"
Is this some meme I've missed? Has some streamer encouraged it?

It's literally just fishing for awards so they can get points to spend in the points shop. If you click and look at their other reviews they literally just copy/paste spam the same meme review on hundreds of games. For every person who plays along (and there always will be at least 1 because "mEmE fUnNy lul") and gives them an award they get 100 points added to their Steam points balance. Same idea as the guys who go on the forums and deliberately post ridiculously dumb or spicy takes in every conversation, because they are looking for people to dump the "Clown" awards on their post or profile.
