I understand that RNG plays a big role in games like this... but in many cases players either are very unlucky - or it feels like the computer enemy "cheats". I have gone throught the first row of 9 without problems, now in the first fight of the second row of 9 I have a scorpion-thingy enemy, who can do the following (2-3 out of this each round, but at some point I had all of it): - has a shield of 5+, while reducing my shield to 0 (e.g. +5 to him, -5 to me with 1 card) - reduced my spell energy to 0 ...
