A couple of friends and I have this ongoing event were we will play new games, mostly free to play, in test them wether the would fit in our group for more than one session. We call it Grabbelkiste which is the german word for a box filled with everything and anything. Over time game ended up in there that are not your usual multiplayer game. More small and mindfull coop expierences. Among the many was With You a short game made by a student for her thesis.

The game is wonky, its really short and filled with potential. But its also filled with fun, a simple yet colorfull world and hope for a bright future.
Please bare in mind this game is local coop online. So thanks to Steam Remote Play the both of us could play it and we had a blast. The gameplay and controls are so much fun, despite being a little wobbly here and there. We pretty much laughed for the full 10minutes it took us beating the game. I wished I could drop my friend and leave him behind when carrying him.
The game offers an idea that could easily be expanded on. Maybe more shapes, more complex levels or objects you need to carry together in order to finish a level. Sadly this game is just a small student game. I always feel drawn to so, see the future of talented devs that fill our hearts with their view on the world and their joy. I can say for sure I felt the love the game offered to the player and I am mostly looking forward to meet that feeling again in another game made in the future.
