I just finished my first run of the game and it told me I had to restart the game to get the benefits of the clear points, which would make it easier to get a new high score later. But what exactly do these points do to make the next game easier? Can you buy things with them? I haven't been able to find any way to interact with them and the new game doesn't mention them and just goes straight into the same old tutorial, which has me a little worried I've done something wrong...
