All my coins just gone for no reason, dev please, fix it.

My recommendation comes with one big caveat: the game's shuttered as of this morning. I just felt like leaving some good vibes for posterity. This was probably the best take on "battle royale but with cars" I'd seen to date, with "eliminate lower X positions for subsequent race heats" making a lot more sense than the attempts I've seen to just lob cars into combat situations. The cosmetics spread was pretty cute, though it felt like standard/medium carts were getting most of the love, with the light class getting especially left in the dust despite having some unlockable advantages.

Feels like an unfortunate victim of the live service model, which could've done with a little more time and player feedback to nail down and refine its core modes and come up with some new ones, though what was there was fun while it lasted. Kudos to the devs for unleashing most of the available cosmetics over the course of the farewell season and offering a slow drip of the paid currency to pick those up along the way. I managed to at least screenshot some of my fave outfits and customizations in both this and the Xbox versions (which I fully unlocked and upgraded everything in, kart-wise, given the extra preview season time) as a keepsake.
