I expected it to be meta but it's meta on every track - short track, corners and obs speed.
I beat every single one of my personal best times on every track... some by almost 10secs! I did not expect that.
It's fun to drive for sure!... but then you can't help but feel it is far too easy mode. The grip is insane. So too for the new Porsche, which is also meta in S class for sure. If a n00b like me can shave 10secs off a PB simply by changing cars... something is wrong.
I dunno. I like new cars. I like new cars that change the meta. I don't like new cars that dominate the meta on every track.
Hopefully Criterion will do what they do in Battlefield games when they introduce new guns... always OP as hell so ppl are interested and use... then they nerf next patch. It's intentional. I hope the same applies here.
Others, opinions welcome!
the r8 was op when it was released nowadays not that op anymore.
Was the R8 nerfed though? I don't recall hearing about anything of the sort. Besides, the Evagina is waaay more easy mode than the R8 imo.
it defenitely was. it was insane in corners when it released.
this a video of mine: https://youtu.be/9KyDnIeva88
it doesnt drive like this anymore.
Ah, I see.
Thanks for linking.
the taycan is a beast to this day in game in short windy tracks in A+ and S class.
the performance of the evija is pretty realistc as well if you consider its an aerodinamic beast in real life even tough its quite heavy.
but car balance is pretty broken anyways in unbound if you wanna be competitive theres 2 tops 3 picks per class you can use.
yeah i dont think they can nerf it i just played a loop track and it was similer to the regara
Are you talking about Ostinato?
My Evag time is almost 5secs faster than my Regera time. 1.17.63 vs 1.12.65. But then again... I am a n00b (despite 1k hours in game) and my Regera time is awful (I think "world record" is 1.10.something in a Regera and clearly I am miles off that).
BUT - me being a n00b and having an awful time in the Regera and then suddenly improving by 5secs in the Evag, should go to prove just how OP the Evag is. In a pro player's hands, the difference is probably marginal (but albeit, in the favour of Evag), but the proof lays with the average player, who normally cannot account very well for cornering/grip, which the Evag completely makes up for, thus being easy mode/OP.
More anecdotal evidence - I suck at S+ tracks. I never come first in a race of 4 or more. Yesterday, I came first. Twice. Other racers did not have the Evag, only me.
It needs nerfing in regards to handling for sure, as much as it made me feel "pro" yesterday winning those races.
So im sure EA will "FIX" this fast then all that makes fun must nerved or fixed. But annoing long time Bugs get ignored.
dark horse is the same
i didnt try the new cars but I assume its similar
