I have this same problem, but I don't know how to follow these instructions? I'm new to SFM. What's the Movie Maker and how do I launch SFM's SDK?
And whenever I tried to open and use SFM's Hammer, I did launch it from the bin folder every time.
TF2 Hammer requires system configurations to set to TF2 folders in order for TF2 Hammer to work
Same goes for all other versions of hammer, to use them system configuration have to be pointed to the game files for the particular game and version of hammer being used.
To set up for SFM, you open the SFM SDK and reset game configurations. However, after doing that, SFM Hammer has to be launched manually from the Sourcefilmmaker\game\bin folder by double clicking the hammer.exe there. Not from a shortcut or the SDK (this is a bug).
Nevermind, I did a google search and found out how to launch the SDK. Although Hammer runs with no problem when I launch it from the SDK for some reason.
This was a bug discovered a long time ago and the fix was to launch from the bin folder manually.
