Welp, just figured out a solution. If anyone else is out there silently struggling to get it to work, select the beta branch [Previous] Stable version in the programs properties. I finally got it booted up again after a months worth of on and off troubleshooting. It's ridiculous how the current version is bogged down, but whatever. At least I can get back to my projects now.
