unblockable attack warnings display too late
the red dot that denotes a unblockable attack does not appear fast enough and makes avoiding them really difficult especially during longer fights this is really annoying fighting the big knight his red dot attacks are random and because it displays late you nearly always get hit ! which is really frustrating :(

Agreed there should be a better indicator on your screen not the enemy.

I agree, but I can guarantee that it wasn't intentional. The combat in this is very janky (like virtually all other aspects of the game). I am 100% confident that they didn't think too much about standardizing the unblockable attack indicator against how quick the attack is launched. There simply isn't a correlation between the two, and there absolutely should be. But that would require strict planning, rigorous iterative design and much better animation quality than what exists in the game.

There are also other attacks that are so friggin fast that even a Jedi would have trouble reacting to those. The armored knights you fight in the second map have a shield bash so fast I've blocked it always by accident, never by intent. I also agree with the red dot. Some attacks start "normal" and suddenly when you prepare to parry it it changes to a red dot in the last second.

I still haven't been able to parry that quick shield bash attack. It happens way too fast.

well... get better at parrying
- or unlock the pistol parry ( you can pistol parry the normall and unblockable attacks ) and just shoot him whe you see ( or feel him attacking )

Agree.
When the enemy raised his weapon, I pressed parry. Suddenly a red dot appeared, no time to shot. I was hit.
The red dot should show before the enemy raises his weapon.
Also, some enemies' unblockable attack animations are the same as other enemies parryable attacks. For example Stone Herald's downward sword swing is the same mocap as regular enemies attacks, which makes it extra confusing at times. Again, this wouldn't be a big deal if the red dot indicator showed up earlier

I was facing the same issue. Finally out of frustration I stopped playing.
