Pink and black spoiling the game.

My progress in this mod is spoiled by the fact that virtually everything is covered in pink and black textures, especially if something is supposed to be reflecting anything back. The original textures of the objects can be seen, but everything seems to be overlaid with a faint pink and black checker-board pattern of some missing texture. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Had this issue since the very start of the mod, and i'm now in the desert part of the mod.

I just finished it, didnt experience any issues. Do the typical....run all updates and verify game files. Im on linux, shouldnt make a difference though.

Set the High Dynamic Range to Full.
Also check if the Texture Detail is at least on High because I noticed the skybox becomes checkerbox when under High.

Nope, nothing worked, HDR is Full, Texture Detail is High, its almost like there is a layer of pink and black, semi transparent textures over everything, walls, floors, ceilings. You can actually see the textures of the walls etc, but you can also see a feint pink and black chequerboard over them as well, and the pattern isnt small, pretty large squares.

I think if you don't have most source games installed on your computer you will get missing textures. Specifically Half-Life 2 and Portal. Just a guess.

- Some graphical issues with cubemaps. If you encounter that there is a lot of pink tint in the reflections on textures, quicksave and type this into console: "buildcubemaps" (it will fix the textures and restart the map) After that, just load your quicksave.

I did everything as written, installed all the content (hl2-ep, portal, css, sdk 2007-8-13) the problem remained, all the reflections have black and pink textures.

сделал всё как написали,установил весь контент (hl2-ep,portal,css,sdk 2007-8-13) проблема осталась все откражения имеют черно-розовые текстуры.

вообще в отражении стёкл видно что это полностью скайбокс имеет такую текстуру,может есть фаил какой для исправления данной ошибки?

команда buildcubemaps работает и видно что что-то обрабатывает после выкидывает в начало уровня но ошибка остается,в самой консоли после введения команды ошибок в процедуре не появляется.
