I recommend, but just barely... and only if on sale...

Very short, and ends on a cliff hanger just as you're getting into it.

Graphics are good, game play is good, story is mediocre. Length is terrible, I took my time, trying to find the collectibles, and it still took me <3 hours to complete.

The flashlight mechanic is annoying with it dying every couple of minutes, and it's too dark of a game to not use it 95% of the time. Hopefully they add some (affordable) DLC to this game to finish it, otherwise I probably won't be interested in the continuation, and the base game really doesn't have any replay value in my opinion. I usually like trying to gather all collectibles, but this one just isn't really making me want to. go back and try to.

i hate hate hate jumpscares i feel like the first one was perfect in creepy vibes and building up scares but i cannot stand getting jump scared at every corner. but very scary if you like being scared i refunded the game bcos i ran out of batteries and was in the darkest hallway known to mankind
