It's unavoidable. Sometimes I want to rank up a different character than my main and I have to start at bronze. I don't want to either
i think they should delete characters rank, and change it to SBMR (Skill-Based Matchmaking Rating), just like dead by daylight does.
They don't match you based on the character you maxed, they match to people who have around the same skill that you have
The system currently tries to do both, but will inevitably lead to unbalanced matches. I don't think they should completely pivot away from the system, especially since it's tied to rewards, but I really think qualifying matches would really make it better.
