(Fixed) Can't progress in the first cutscene

I just bought the game. I don't have a steam deck yet. I want to play it on pc but I can't pass the cutscene right after the earthquake. It's just all black screen. Are there any fix? It's so frustrating, I want to play to game, but now I'm close to refunding it.

Update. My friend tried it on her pc it worked with no issues. I thought it might be specs settings related. I disabled my gpu temporarily and got through the cutscene. Not sure how it is related with the cutscene issue.
