Reminded me a lot of my first days playing those games that teach programming to kids where I had to put in instructions to drive a combine harvester or something.

Very good idea. It's like a roguelike but without RNG. Also has meta progression which I like. Lovely graphics.

Very tedious at times - you need to just spend time doing the same stuff over and over due to the meta progression making it faster each time. This is why, combined with the fact that the game map is huge for this type of gameplay, I didn't even want to go after all achievements or just explore more possibilities on the map - it's not as easy as just going there, you need to start the whole loop from the beginning.

The "fog of war" is annoying sometimes because again it makes you explore that area over multiple loops to get a clear picture. On the other hand the map not being auto revealed makes coming into a new area very exciting and rewards exploring the hidden corners (although exploration is still tedious thanks to requiring starting the whole loop from start).

Overall - an annoying beaten path simulator saved by the interesting characters, interesting world, appealing graphics and a somewhat satisfying meta progression system.

Very much like the game, really feels like a script-able idle adventure game. I don't love that it looks so similar to Loop Hero in the looks and concept (one or the other wouldnt flag anything, but both...) but a lot of that is made up by this doing what I wanted Loop hero to do and the price is very reasonable. Both games are great, play both. I'd love Loop Hero to be this granular and I'd love this to have the camp building.

Maybe I'll make a third game that does both and adds factory crafting or something lol
