Well the inevitable happened, I was streaming something late at night and my internet went down. No problem, I thought! I'll just boot up steam and fall asleep in bed with a video game... But no luck. I discovered to launch DSX you need an internet connection.

Are there any plans to allow DSX to be used offline? I just now realized this utility program I have been extremely satisfied with will never work on non internet connected flights, when I'm cabin camping without internet, or if the internet in my neighborhood goes down.

I understand that it's most likely to prevent piracy, but at the end of the day, with a program that costs $8, is it really worth this huge gap in the paid user experience? It really sucks that I literally can't use a program I paid for to play games that don't require an internet connection...
