Playing on Steam Deck.

Am I missing something? When the 'A' prompt shows up to "fight" is it a button mash? A hold? A gentle tapping?

The first instance with the vines when you go for the matches I somehow got through after dying multiple times.

Now I'm stuck trying to get out of the cave with the "biblically accurate angel"(?).

I would assume it wants me to press 'A' as fast as possible but it doesn't work.

Help??
