Just because it's not supported by the developer does not mean its entirely unsupported. For one, valve rated it playable, so It does semi officially work. Secondly, the community can provide support, which I am going to do.

So, I just fired it up on my deck, where it launches just fine using the default proton 7.0-6 and proton experimental. Try setting a different proton version manually in the games steam settings -> Properties -> Compatibility
Also, if you are using the injection translation injection mod from 4chans /fg/ , DO NOT copy the XAudio2_9.dll the mod provides, as that will completely break linux and steamdeck support. Just don't copy it to the games files or if you already have done so, just delete it.
Also always use the latest version of the mod, as game updates sometimes break the mod.
