You need to look for the NISA version. Trails Through Daybreak.

its supposed to be translated and localized and released today along with the ps4 and ps5 releases.

The "Trails through dayberak" version is already purchasable, but the "Kuro no kiseki" version is not patched yet. Anyone knows when this patch will be released?

Bruh some people haven't gotten the update yet, some people have, what is going on????

Well I tried everything from updating the game files, updating steam, restarting my pc and reinstalling my game, so I have no tips to give unfortunatly

Guys please don't forget that this game is available from 2 different publishers on Steam.

This version of Cloud Leopard will not receive a patch
Only the NIS America version will receive the patch, why would NIS allow Cloud Leopard to use their work?

You can also see on SteamDB that there is no patch for the Cloud Leopard version

So if you want to have the offical English version you need to buy the NIS version of the Game

The World is big and not every Publisher is able to handle the publishing world wide so it happens that one game have different publishers for different regions '

Cloud Leopard is responsible for the Asian Market most likely Japan China Korea

NIS America is handling the Western Release since Trails of Cold Steel 3 before NIS it was handled by XSEED

Normally you can't buy games on Steam that are not intended for your region, but the publisher can decide for himself in which region his game can be bought and apparently Cloud Leopard has no restrictions

Why would NIS release an english version for a game thats already in english?
Yes, the information for the english patch is on the NIS version but still. It doesnt make any sense for me to release a patch thats adds something thats already there.
And NIS doesnt sell the Japanese version (to my knowledge) so why would they tell people that it would get an english translation patch?

This is an official product. It's just not intended for the English market.
If you cannot refund, then you still have the option to play with fan translation.

Same apparently, I bought both Kuro I and Kuro II when they were on sale under the false impression that I could just change the language to English once the English version was released. I guess I was swindled.

You can use the English fantranslation patch for both of those and play them fully in English minus the voice acting right now.
