Tiandao Research Center Lowest Level Area
Hello all,

I'm just about to wrap up my first playthrough and cannot for the life of me figure out how to access the area here:

There doesn't seem to be any where to hack, exploding the enemy above doesn't destroy the blockade. I only have the boss after the point of no return, so if I'm supposed to proceed to gain access then all's good. I just didn't wanna miss out on all the collectibles.

You can only access it once you hit the point of no return

Glad to help!

Some extra info if doing some achievement stuff:
Both Chiyou and Shanhai 9000 quests will also be completable once you hit the point of no return and are both in the Tiandao Research Center.
As long as you made the max progress with both of them.

Heck yeah! I was wondering what was going to happen regarding those quests so I'm glad I can relax about it lol. Thanks again for the time and the comments!

I've also been trying to get into this area. Also, I have all the treasure, notes and sub-bosses on the map but don't have the treasure achievement, is this also because I'm not past the point of no return?

The last item for Treasure Hunter is after Point of No Return

Thanks, I got the treasure hunter trophy, but now I'm stuck at Eigong.

She is far and away the hardest fight in the game, so no surprise there. She is kind of like Lady Ephereal, where all her moves have a specific response you are supposed to do for them. You just have to keep practicing until you learn all her moves and the right responses.

Yep, I just read some Eigong discussions, and a lot of people have had problems. The parry timings are weird and the red attacks are fast, so it's challenging, but I'll get there eventually.
