I've played through the first Pivotal fragment and am going to continue, likely.

I play furry visual novels (gay ones especially) constantly. I feel like the dialogue in this is really cheesy. Every line (an HOUR into the game) has to be some grand philosophical statement.

The game is best, I feel, with its polish and branding. The music and art are great. I like the fragment mechanic well enough. I just think its entirely too pretentious. Every character talks like a grand philosopher. The writing is the best when the characters are discussing the main idea (komorebi) or when the main character is talking to the counselor. Other than that, its very hard to not roll my eyes when reading.
