Is It Worth It?
I've played around in the demo for a bit, and i really like these simpler missions like building a structure to get somewhere, or to support something.

But i can't seem to figure out the mission with the giant carrot.
How am i supposed to pull it out with only wood and four rotator thingies?

And are future levels also like that?
Because currently i only enjoy levels where i build and maybe even have to get my character somewhere after that.

Other than that, i would like to experiment with creative mode.

I just wanna know if the rest of the game is as complex, or even more complex than the carrot mission.

Hey! One of the two devs here, so I'll obviously be biased and say it's worth it! 😂

It's funny you should post this message, as I was just having a discussion with the other dev yesterday (before you posted the message) specifically about the carrot mission - and how it would be better to move it to a later level since it is one of the trickier and awkward missions to complete in the first level when players are still learning the basics, and it makes sense to appear later in the game.

I would say in general that most levels have a mixture of Easy / Medium / Hard missions, but as the game progresses, in the later levels, you usually only get a mixture of medium and hard missions. We have seen people Cheese missions and solve what we thought were hard missions, very easily - and that's the beauty of the sandbox and gridless nature of the game!

It's also worth mentioning that in the main game, all the levels are unlocked from the get-go so you can do any mission from any level you want, you don't need to complete levels to unlock the later levels - if that makes sense. So you can skip all the mission types that you don't like and just do the ones you enjoy!

I'll let some other folk chime in whether it's worth it or not, but I would say - if you are thinking/planning on buying it, we're having a 30% discount from this Saturday for 2 weeks, so you may be better holding off till then to get a better deal! 😉

Thanks a lot for responding!

I'll definitely be keeping my eye on the discount.
Right now, it's looking to be a purchase!

Would love to see workshop support for this game. I'm sure it's a long way before you guy's even consider it.

Steam Workshop support is actually next on our list of things to explore / try to implement once we get this next update out later this week! We've never done it before though, but I think it should be doable.

The reason we updated to the latest/last version of Unreal Engine 4 was to enable (or at least make it easier) to add both Workshop Support, and Water/Bouyancy physics - and now that water physics has now been recently added to the game in the last update - we'll be looking at steam workshop support to enable people to share different saves/structures etc!
